Dunkin' Brings on the Joy with Non-profit Organization
Early this month, the Dunkin' Joy in Childhood Foundation, founded by Dunkin', helped fund Camp Joyful Hearts, hosted at Camp Joy. Founded in 2006, Dunkin' Joy in Childhood was founded with the mission bring joy to children who were facing hunger or illness. This camp is a residential summer camp, for kids and teens with heart disease. It is hosted yearly by the Cincinnati Children's Heart Institute.
Campers got to enjoy their days zip lining, learning archery, cooking, fishing, hiking, swimming, and so much more. Every activity is adjusted so that the kids can participate, without worries.
The Dunkin'-founded organization has also donates over $1.25 million in the last year to help with emergency funding during the COVID-19 pandemic, for the Boston Resiliency Fund.
Beyond their fincial contributions, the Dunkin' Joy Fund has also hired on a "Chief Joy Officer," in the form of a four-legged friend, who we're sure loves donuts too! He's picture below.
