A/B Testing for Your Digital Small Business

Image
(PC; https://www.optimizely.com/optimization-glossary/ab-testing/ ) When testing marketing techniques, testing what works better is a must. What wording catches more people? What pictures grab more attention? Which audience is more likely to purchase instead of abandoning their carts? Through A/B testing, your brand can find answers to these questions, and help you boost sales on your website.  First, take a look at your small business, and find one thing to optimize; wording, photos, whatever you choose. create a challenger to what you already have. Maybe instead of returns accepted, you change the wording to FREE returns. Next, split the traffic to your post equally, and randomly. Launch the original and challenger, and watch those numbers. Once the test results are in, apply your adjustments! It's that simple.  Now, be wary; A/B testing may be a never ending testing loop. One thing will always do better than another. Find what works best for you. Don't be afraid to sen...

Our goal at Let's Kick Dirt is to raise awareness of soil erosion, and push people towards helping prevent soil erosion through simple steps, such as growing cover crops or skipping tilling land.   The soil erosion has been caused by the fourth driest year in the last 127 years, according to  NOAA records. It is also impacted by the high winds seen this year. Other issues caused by this drought include high fire likelihood, loss of crops, and reduced hunting permits. This drought also causes cattle-death, due to the blooming of blue-green algae. Below is a chart, from NOAA, showing drought conditions in the Grand Forks Area.  ( https://www.drought.gov/states/north-dakota/county/grand%20forks ) Efforts to help conserve the area have been taking place, including forced water, mulching, and more.
